Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Engineer for its AI Cybersecurity Research team. The role focuses on turning research into production-grade security/software solutions, collaborating with research, product, and partner teams. You will prototype MVPs, build APIs and tooling, and align architectures with real workflows to secure enterprise environments.

The base salary ranges provided reflect Level 4 and Level 5 bands, with equity and benefits available. Applications accepted until Oct 24, 2026.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field.
8+ years in software/security engineering with hands-on leadership.
Strong backend, APIs, automation, or platform components experience; quick learner of new paradigms.
Experience with multi-contributor and long-running software projects.
Familiarity with building agents, AI tooling, and architectures.
Proven ability to define MVPs, prototype quickly, and push to production.
Familiarity with offensive security, red teaming, or attack-path analysis.
Willingness to collaborate across organizational boundaries balancing security with usability.

Responsibilities

Build leading software to accelerate cybersecurity tooling for AI.
Collaborate with research and product teams to turn research code into alpha products.
Prototype high-value MVPs for security/identity problems and iterate to production.
Develop reusable tooling, CLI interfaces, APIs, and integration patterns.
Coordinate with Enterprise Security and Platform teams to align architecture with workflows.
