Job summary

Octaura, a technology company revolutionizing asset-class workflows, seeks a senior SDET to own performance testing strategy and automation framework architecture. You will drive performance validation, mentor engineers, and advance AI‑assisted testing practices within a high‑impact Quality Engineering group.

You will shape testing strategy across UI, API, and end‑to‑end layers, review designs, and contribute to scalable infrastructure and modern software development practices in New York.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in SDET/QA Automation or related field; strong technical depth.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in performance testing initiatives across multiple applications and services.
• Design and execute load, stress, endurance, scalability, spike, resilience, and capacity tests.
• Define workload models, performance validation strategies, baselines, and success criteria.
• Analyze bottlenecks across applications, databases, infrastructure, and architecture.
• Mentor engineers on performance testing methodology and results interpretation.
• Promote testability, observability, and engineering excellence across the organization.
• Use AI-assisted workflows to improve testing efficiency and code quality.
