Job summary

RoboForce is seeking a Senior / Staff AI Research Scientist, Foundation Models to advance robotic embodied intelligence. You will design and train vision-language and action models, enabling robots to understand environments and execute tasks with human collaborators.

You will build world models for long-horizon planning, integrate multi-modal data, and deploy production-grade solutions on RoboForce platforms.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master's with strong ML/Robotics background.
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks.
• Expertise in foundation models and world modeling for robotics.
• Strong multimodal modeling and modern ML architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy vision-language(-action) models (VLM/VLA) for contextual understanding and generalized robot action policies.
• Develop and train world models for action-conditioned prediction, long-horizon planning, and environment simulation.
• Research world model fidelity using vision, language, proprioception, and spatial data.
• Develop foundation models with spatial reasoning for precise robotic actions.
• Integrate multi-modal data for natural human-robot communication.
• Optimize and deploy production-grade models on RoboForce robotic platforms.
