Job summary

Flodesk, a remote-first email marketing company, seeks a product leader for its AI systems and core experience. You will shape behavior, prompts, and evaluation, working with engineers on code and infrastructure to improve member experiences.

You’ll translate research and user feedback into practical improvements while avoiding hard-coded surface changes. You will own the day-to-day product direction for Flodesk's AI experience, collaborating with product, design, marketing, copy and engineering

Qualifications

• Shaped or meaningfully improved real LLM or agentic products with measurable user impact.
• Practical knowledge of prompts, context, tools, agent behavior and evaluation.
• Hands-on with prompt iteration, evaluation tools and trace review, comfortable with JSON, schemas and structured outputs.

Responsibilities

• Manage member-facing AI behavior across prompt-to-create, agentic editing and future jobs.
• Create, test, version and document prompts and agent instructions with a clear audit trail.
• Define required context, data, tools and state for AI tasks and translate into clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Own AI evaluation practice including datasets, scenarios, rubrics and regression coverage.
• Run recurring evaluation and quality monitoring with baselines and release gates for changes.
• Review traces and AI interactions to diagnose failure sources and propose actionable fixes for engineering.
• Turn research, feedback and domain knowledge into priorities, experiments and regression cases.
• Own day-to-day product direction and learning agenda for Flodesk's AI experience with cross-functional collaboration.
