Zof AI is seeking a Senior AI Applications Engineer to help build production-quality AI products and infrastructure in San Francisco. This role requires operating across the stack, making strong technical decisions, and delivering production-ready systems with speed and discipline.

The ideal candidate is AI-native, deeply technical, and comfortable using modern AI tools to increase engineering velocity without compromising quality. This is a full-time, on-site position in San Francisco.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship production-quality AI product features.
• Work across frontend, backend, data, infrastructure, and AI tooling as needed.
• Make strong architectural decisions in ambiguous environments.
• Use AI development tools to increase velocity while maintaining quality.
• Collaborate with product and leadership to translate product direction into working systems.
• Mentor junior engineers through code review, technical guidance, and example-setting.
• Improve engineering standards, reliability, and delivery discipline.
• Own important systems from concept through production.
