Job summary

ChipAgents is hiring a Senior Product Design Engineer to own the product experience across CLI, web, IDE, and desktop interfaces. You will translate complex chip design workflows into clear product experiences and define how users interact with AI agents, including task creation, progress tracking, and recovery.

You will work with customers and domain experts to identify problems and shape the solution from problem definition through launch.

Qualifications

Experience shipping user-facing software.
Strong frontend engineering skills.
Exceptional product, interaction design, and information architecture judgment.
Comfort making decisions under ambiguity and driving alignment.
Ability to reason through complete workflows including edge cases.
Experience working directly with users to translate needs into product decisions.
Willingness to learn unfamiliar technical domains quickly.

Responsibilities

Own the product experience across CLI, web, IDE, desktop, and agent-native interfaces.
Translate chip design workflows into clear, efficient product experiences.
Define interactions with AI agents including task creation, progress, review, and recovery.
Collaborate with customers and domain experts to identify problems to solve.
Develop prototypes and production interfaces; influence product work across engineering.
