Job summary

Anomali is seeking a senior architecture leader to define and drive the architecture for our AI and data platforms in the US. You will shape distributed systems, security, and cloud-native solutions while aligning technical direction with business outcomes.

You will mentor engineers, lead cross-functional delivery teams, and communicate complex trade-offs to executives and customers, ensuring scalable and secure platform modernization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering, architecture, or technical leadership.

Job description

• Define technical architecture for Anomali’s Intelligent Unification Layer, Governed Decisioning Layer, Agentic SOC Platform, and MIaaS
• Translate product strategy, customer outcomes, and business requirements into scalable architecture and implementation plans
• Lead architecture reviews and approve technical designs for strategic product initiatives
• Define AI-driven and agentic security operations architecture, including orchestration, reasoning pipelines, contextual decision systems, and human-in-the-loop controls
• Architect large-scale enterprise data platforms for AI, analytics, intelligence, and cybersecurity workloads
• Design data ingestion, normalization, enrichment, deduplication, correlation, storage, and retrieval services
• Provide direction for distributed search, semantic search, vector databases, embeddings, hybrid search, and retrieval-augmented generation
• Partner with Data Science and AI Engineering to operationalize models and AI capabilities in production
• Lead technical direction for cross-functional delivery teams throughout the software development lifecycle
• Maintain architectural documentation, decision records, and technical accountability
• Participate in strategic customer engagements and represent Anomali’s architecture thesis to executives, partners, analysts, and customers
• Present technical strategy, architecture, trade-offs, and product direction to executive leadership
• Drive platform modernization, reduce technical debt, improve scalability and resiliency, and mentor architects and engineers
• Ensure compliance with Anomali security and privacy policies and safeguard sensitive information

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in software engineering, systems architecture, AI platform architecture, product architecture, or technical leadership
• Demonstrated success defining and delivering enterprise-scale SaaS, cloud-native, data, or AI platforms
• Deep expertise in enterprise AI or agentic platform architecture
• Deep expertise in large-scale data and distributed platform architecture
• Experience translating product strategy into technical architecture, delivery sequencing, and implementation plans
• Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives from concept through production delivery
• Ability to lead engineers and technical teams through influence rather than direct reporting relationships
• Strong experience partnering with Product Management organizations
• Experience making and documenting architectural trade-offs involving scope, timing, performance, scalability, security, and cost
• Strong executive communication and presentation skills
• Ability to engage credibly with technical executives, architects, security leaders, and strategic customers
• Must not now or in the future require visa sponsorship to work in the United States
• Strong technical depth in AI platform and agentic system architecture
• Strong technical depth in distributed systems and cloud-native applications
• Strong technical depth in APIs, microservices, orchestration, and shared platform services
• Strong technical depth in large-scale data platforms, data governance, lineage, provenance, quality, high-volume ingestion, and streaming architectures
• Strong technical depth in enterprise security architecture and security operations
• Strong technical depth in human-in-the-loop and governed autonomous decision systems
• Strong technical depth in identity, authorization, auditability, and policy enforcement for AI agents
• Ability to evaluate and guide specialists across data lake/lakehouse technologies, petabyte-scale storage, distributed search, vector databases, semantic search, retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, machine learning operations, feature engineering, inference pipelines, Kubernetes, and customer-controlled deployment models
• Strong understanding of enterprise cybersecurity platforms and operating models
• Experience with one or more of SIEM, Threat Intelligence, security analytics, XDR, SOAR, identity and non-human identity, observability, or AI-driven security operations
