Job summary

Gusto is seeking a senior, technically minded workforce management planner to design and scale AI-powered forecasting and capacity planning systems. You will lead WFM governance, build data pipelines, and partner with Legal, Data, and Product to ensure compliant AI implementations.

This hybrid role reports into Planning People Empower and shapes AI adoption across forecasting, scheduling, and intraday operations.

Qualifications

• AI fluency and ability to operationalize AI tools in WFM; forecasting, automation, analytics.
• Strong analytics and dashboards experience surfacing WFM insights for leaders.
• Excellent judgment, communication, and problem-solving for stakeholders.
• Experience building data pipelines integrating multiple WFM data sources.

Responsibilities

• Use AI to identify demand shifts and trends before they impact operations.
• Connect AI insights to staffing, scheduling, and capacity decisions.
• Develop capacity plans with hiring and efficiency recommendations.
• Participate in PagerDuty on-call rotation for real-time incidents.
• Design scalable AI-enabled WFM workflows for forecasting and intraday tasks.
• Build AI-powered data pipelines integrating multiple data sources.
