Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer specializing in the MERN stack with a strong AI background to build AI-powered features for our CCaaS platform.

You will own end-to-end work from architecture to delivery, collaborate across product and design, mentor engineers, and navigate tradeoffs to ship impactful solutions in a distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years of software development experience with Node.js, TypeScript and React.js.
• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs or AI services into production products.
• Strong understanding of event-driven architectures and loosely coupled systems.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, RAG patterns, and agentic architectures.
• Experience with Apache Kafka, Postgres, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Git, Linux, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with remote/distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions with a focus on AI-powered features across the platform.
• Build AI-based capabilities including LLM-powered automation, summarization, classification, and decision support.
• Implement and drive event-driven architectures using Kafka to support async AI processing pipelines.
• Lead small to medium technical projects end-to-end from scoping to delivery and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to align scope and land pragmatic solutions.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
