You will work with security, product, legal, governance, and RSP teams to craft external messaging and disclosures that reflect our LTBT structure and public benefit corporation status.

The role requires strong executive management, deep experience in policy communications, and the ability to distill technical topics

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute communications strategies for Anthropic's approach to AI security, governance, and responsible scaling.
• Drive external communications about governance structures, LTBT, and public benefit corporation status.
• Partner with security, product, legal, governance, and RSP teams on sensitive topics.
• Develop proactive communications around regulatory frameworks and transparency obligations.
• Manage reactive inbound media requests on security and governance topics.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists and influencers covering security and policy.
• Prepare executives for media interviews and public appearances; develop thought leadership.
• Write blog posts, statements, talking points, and other materials with accuracy.
