Job summary

Qualcomm Incorporated in San Diego is seeking a hands-on Senior Software Engineer for the Enterprise AI Platform and Solutions team. The role focuses on design, development, and delivery of AI-powered applications, developer experiences, and reusable platform capabilities across the enterprise.

You will build RAG-driven ingestion, embeddings, vector search, and LLM-powered services; deploy scalable cloud-native solutions on Kubernetes; and collaborate across AI/ML, platform, and security teams

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C#.NET, Rust, JavaScript, TypeScript, and frontend tech.
• Experience designing and building full‑stack apps with APIs, data integration, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on AI/LLM workflows, RAG, semantic search, or agentic workflows.
• Experience with cloud-native apps on AWS/Azure/Google Cloud and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize RAG solutions including ingestion, embeddings, vector search, and evaluation frameworks.
• Develop and integrate LLM-powered capabilities into enterprise applications.
• Architect and operate scalable cloud-native AI solutions on Kubernetes and public clouds.
• Design APIs, services, and integration layers exposing AI and search capabilities.
• Maintain CI/CD, observability, monitoring, and tooling for AI apps and platforms.
• Collaborate across AI/ML, platform, security, and product teams to ensure production-grade reliability.
