Geotab is seeking a Senior Data Platform Developer to build internal ML platforms and GenAI applications. You will enable data scientists to train, explore, and deploy AI models, and you’ll help scale telematics data for production services.

The role emphasizes partnering with data teams, implementing robust observability, and driving architecture improvements across our AI infrastructure in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary Degree specialization in Computer Science, Software or Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years experience in a software developer or a similar role.
• 3-5 years experience in developing production-level systems using Python 3.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain new machine learning platforms and generative AI applications.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting for AI platform health.
• Enrich big data with telematics data at scale.
• Collaborate with data scientists to meet data processing needs.
