Job summary

Google is seeking a Software Engineer III for Agentic AI Systems within Cloud Security in San Francisco, CA. The role combines software engineering with GenAI capabilities to advance autonomous agentic SOC for AI-driven cybersecurity solutions.

You will contribute to the AI platform and capabilities for Google SecOps, building systems that reason, investigate, and defend against fast-moving threats while collaborating across teams to push security technology forward.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
• 1 year of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging).
• Experience with state-of-the-art GenAI techniques (LLMs, multimodal, vision) or related concepts.

Responsibilities

• Write product or system development code. Collaborate through design and code reviews to ensure best practices.
• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product updates and user feedback.
• Implement GenAI solutions, utilize ML infrastructure, and contribute to data preparation, optimization, and performance improvements.
• Develop and launch next-generation Agentic features for Google SecOps; build AI platforms to support agent development.
• Scale the product and defend the enterprises from emerging threats.
