Job summary

Tubi is seeking a Staff Engineer to shape the technical evolution of its AI-centric platforms, focusing on non-deterministic AI integration, cross-system data pipelines, and production-grade reliability.

You will own the most complex subsystems, define interfaces, drive architectural patterns, and push for measurable progress through iterative delivery while controlling costs and risk.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with end-to-end ownership.
• Expertise in distributed systems, fault tolerance, and reliable systems.
• Strong full-stack fundamentals across Node.js/TS, React/TS, Python.
• Proven track record delivering working systems on timeline.
• Good judgment under uncertainty and pragmatic trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive AI platform architecture across pipelines and data.
• Own complex subsystems: reliability under non-determinism and data integration.
• Define interfaces and contracts for boundary integration.
• Ship consistently; turn ambiguous requirements into working software.
• Mature AI systems with validation loops and cost management.
• Raise engineering bar via code reviews and design discussions.
