Elios AI seeks a senior AI architect to set technical direction across enterprise AI engagements, interfacing with CTOs to translate strategy into scalable, reliable systems. You will define architectures, evaluate tradeoffs, and guide multi-disciplinary teams in a hybrid, production-focused environment.

The role demands a decade-plus of production engineering, deep LLM systems experience, and the leadership to direct AI tooling rather than hide behind it.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of production software engineering with 3+ years in LLM-powered systems.
• Experience architecting and shipping production AI products with measurable scale and availability.
• Consulting or enterprise delivery background with executive-level communication.
• History of leading engineers across distributed environments while staying hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture across engagements: orchestrator-worker patterns, MCP integrations, hybrid RAG systems.
• Advise executive stakeholders on AI strategy and translate it into shippable systems.
• Set technical standards for evals, reliability, cost, and responsible AI practices.
• Unblock hard problems hands-on; act as player-coach for senior engineers.
• Mentor senior and lead engineers across distributed teams.
• Stay current with shipped capabilities and practical implementations.
