Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Principal Enterprise Architect for AI & GenAI Platforms to lead the enterprise AI strategy across multiple platforms and high-tech clients. This senior role emphasizes hands-on AI experience, executive stakeholder management, and governance to deliver measurable business value.

You will architect scalable GenAI/Agentic AI solutions, guide cloud-native adoption (AWS/Azure/GCP), and mentor teams while partnering with sales and delivery leadership.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of Enterprise Architecture, solution architecture, or technology consulting experience.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale AI, cloud, and digital transformation programs.
• Expertise in Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLMs, RAG, and AI governance.
• Strong experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Experience designing microservices, APIs, Kubernetes, Docker, and event-driven architectures.
• Strong executive communication, consulting, and client engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise AI architecture strategy, roadmaps, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Architect scalable GenAI, Agentic AI, ML, and cloud-native solutions.
• Design AI platforms using LLMs, RAG, vector databases, APIs and cloud services.
• Build rapid PoCs and prototypes to validate business use cases.
• Establish Responsible AI practices, model governance, and production readiness criteria.
• Drive cloud-native architecture adoption across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
