Job summary

EY seeks a senior Distinguished Engineer to lead the delivery of AI-native systems in regulated industries. You’ll balance deep technical judgment with client presence, shaping architecture, and producing durable enterprise patterns.

As a cross-cell technical authority, you’ll guide complex designs, validate implementations, and drive repeatable approaches while collaborating with governance and product teams to deliver auditable, production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years delivering complex AI enterprise systems.
• Experience with distributed systems, cloud platforms, and integration-heavy architectures.
• Hands-on with AI-enabled stacks (agentic systems, orchestration, LLM-backed services).
• Experience in forward-deployed or customer-facing engineering roles.
• Track record of reusable technical patterns or platforms.
• Collaboration with architecture, product, and platform teams.
• Understanding of software delivery lifecycle and production readiness.

Responsibilities

• Serve as cross-engagement technical authority ensuring delivery aligns with architecture, safety, and constraints in regulated environments.
• Synthesize learnings into durable reference integrations and reusable patterns.
• Work with AI agents to support safe-to-ship decisions with evidence inputs.
• Operate as player-coach guiding delivery teams to repeatable approaches.
• Consolidate cross-cell signals into evidence-based recommendations and platform investments.
• Partner with Product Engineering and Product Architecture to package client patterns into business cases.
