Job summary

Sia is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join its AI Platforms team. You will translate business needs into robust data and AI architectures across cloud, ML/DL, and generative AI domains, working with CIOs, CISOs, and engineering leads.

This staff-level, part‑time role embeds in cross-functional teams, with a path toward engineering management. You will lead architecture reviews, mentor engineers, and contribute to pre-sales while ensuring production readiness, security, and cost

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 4–7 years of solution architecture, cloud architecture, or senior engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in at least two ecosystems: AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, OpenAI, Anthropic, NVIDIA.
• Strong cloud architecture knowledge: networking, security, compute, storage, and AI/ML services.
• Proven ability to engage with senior client stakeholders and translate needs into solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to convey complex concepts.
• Fluent in French; professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end technical architecture for data and AI projects across cloud, ML/DL, and generative AI domains.
• Act as primary technical contact for client stakeholders, aligning decisions with security and regulatory requirements.
• Lead architecture reviews, design sessions, and governance forums for coherence across workstreams.
• Mentor junior consultants and engineers; contribute to internal IP and accelerators.
• Support pre-sales with architecture scoping, effort estimation, and technical proposals.
• Oversee production readiness, scalability, reliability, observability, and cost optimization.
