Job summary

Vercel is seeking a Senior Forward-Deployed Engineer to join our Professional Services team. You will work directly with enterprise customers to drive frontend modernization, platform migrations, and AI adoption in production environments, shaping outcomes that scale.

You will lead complex Next.js migrations, architect high-performance applications, conduct code audits, and embed with customer teams to ship production agents.

Qualifications

• Six+ years in software engineering with customer-facing experience.
• Experience using AI instrumentation to build and deploy apps and agentic workflows.
• Strong communication and business-mense capabilities for executive-level discussions.

Responsibilities

• Build production AI solutions using eve framework, AI SDK, and cloud infra.
• Lead frontend migrations to Next.js and automate large-scale codebase transformations.
• Conduct code audits and improve website performance with actionable roadmaps.
• Architect and implement high-performance Next.js apps with App Router, RSC, ISR.
• Embed with strategic customers to ship production agents in their environments.
• Drive enablement through workshops, pair programming, and documentation.
