Job summary

Upscale AI is seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer to design, debug, and optimize the SONiC NOS platform for GPU AI clusters. You will own end-to-end network bring-up, tuning, and fabric performance for customers during PoCs, collaborating closely with hardware, software, QA, and customers to hit latency and utilization targets.

The role emphasizes scripting in Python/Go, Linux expertise, and knowledge of network ASICs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience; 5+ years with SONiC or equivalent NOS development.
• Strong Python/Go skills; solid Linux and TCP/IP networking knowledge.
• Experience with PTF and SpyTest for validation; familiarity with containers.
• Knowledge of network ASICs and switch hardware architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain features for the SONiC NOS platform.
• Debug and resolve issues on SONiC platforms; build debugging tools.
• Own end-to-end network bring-up and performance for GPU AI clusters.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers, QA, and product teams; support PoCs.
• Document findings and contribute to backend services and infrastructure automation.
