Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking an Applied AI Modeling Lead to collaborate across our Business Modeling organization, building high-impact quantitative models for customers’ financial needs in retail, credit card, home, auto lending, and wealth management.

You will lead modeling engagements end-to-end, mentor juniors, and ensure comprehensive model documentation and governance alignment with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• MS in a quantitative field (e.g., CS, Data Science, Math or OR).
• 7+ years in Credit Cards industry with statistical/ML models; 5+ years AI (RL or optimization).
• Proficient in Python with ML/DL frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and libraries (NumPy, Scikit-Learn, Pandas); strong JupyterLab experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and launch ML models aligned to business goals, balancing performance and speed to market.
• Lead end-to-end modeling engagements with business, governance and tech stakeholders.
• Act as SME and trusted advisor to business partners on model strengths/limits.
• Partner with Governance to document models, track performance, ensure regulatory compliance.
