Job summary

Amentum seeks an AI Modeling Specialist (Senior) to support Combatant Command Operations in the Information Environment under the Apollo program. You will design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models enabling integrated planning, data exploitation, and decision support for global operations.

Responsibilities include leading AI/ML development, building scalable pipelines, and delivering dashboards for real-time insights.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret clearance and SCI eligibility; US citizenship required.
• 8+ years of experience in data science, AI/ML, or related field with advanced degree equivalency.
• Experience developing and deploying AI/ML models in operational or mission-focused environments.
• Strong proficiency in Python and AI/ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Experience building data and model pipelines, cloud architectures (AWS/Azure).
• Experience integrating multi-source data into analytic models and translating outputs for decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead AI/ML technical expert supporting data-driven operations for CCMDs.
• Design, develop, and deploy ML/AI models for operational analysis and decision support.
• Operationalize AI-enabled data ingestion, processing, and analysis across sources.
• Build scalable model pipelines and architectures for cross-domain integration.
• Apply AI/ML techniques to identify patterns and adversary behaviors in information environment.
• Integrate model outputs into workflows for planning, data operations, assessment, and execution.
• Collaborate with planners, data scientists, and staff to translate analytics into insights.
• Develop and support AI-enabled dashboards and analytics platforms with real-time insights.
• Create reusable AI/ML models/frameworks scalable across CCMDs and missions.
• Ensure models are transparent, explainable, and ROI-aligned.
