Job summary

Crusoe is hiring a Senior Staff Software Engineer for the AI Model Lifecycle team to build a comprehensive managed platform for the AI development lifecycle, with a focus on machine learning models, including LLMs.

You will manage fine-tuning systems, implement end-to-end training pipelines, and drive RL/RFT and distillation pipelines. You will handle dataset and experiment management, emphasizing reproducibility at scale.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4-5+ years of industry experience leading AI projects.
• Hands-on experience training, fine-tuning, and aligning LLMs using RL/RFT techniques.

Responsibilities

• Manage fine-tuning systems for large foundation models with multi-node orchestration and cost-efficient scaling.
• Implement and maintain end-to-end training pipelines for Large Language Models.
• Research RL and RFT improvements for fine-tuning and training sections.
• Develop distillation and reinforcement learning pipelines (e.g., reward modeling).
• Dataset, model, and experiment management with versioning and reproducibility.
