Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., C++, Go or Java).
• 3 years of ML infrastructure experience (model deployment, evaluation, processing).
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining infrastructure.
• Experience designing, developing, and deploying AI models or ML algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Learn new technical domains by combining deep knowledge of Google's stack with AI-assisted research.
• Build scalable AI-powered solutions across Google while collaborating with external systems.
• Identify strategic problem spaces and propose opportunities to maximize impact.
• Contribute to a collaborative culture that pushes technical boundaries.
• Guide junior engineers and lead focused teams with clear technical direction.
