Job summary

CATHEXIS is seeking a Senior AI/ML Software Developer to join our team in Redwood City, CA. You will work with a skilled group delivering AI applications using JavaScript, Python or Java and collaborating across disciplines to solve complex problems.

The role requires a Secret or higher clearance, 5+ years of experience, and a drive to deliver quality code. You will build scalable data tools, optimize performance, and mentor teammates while leveraging modern LLM tools to accelerate development.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance or higher required.
• 5+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Experience with JavaScript, Java, or other OO languages.
• Hands-on OO programming, data structures, algorithms, profiling and optimization.
• Strong collaboration and team-oriented problem solving.
• Proficient with modern LLM tools to boost development workflow and code quality.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers and leadership to design solutions that solve customer problems.
• Design, develop, and maintain technical AI/ML software.
• Build tools to analyze large-scale data.
• Debug, troubleshoot, modify, and test software and solutions.
• Create documentation and procedures for user support and tech docs.
