Job summary

Google in San Jose, CA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer III specialized in AI/ML for Enterprise Engineering, Core to help scale and advance Google's AI infrastructure. You will design and implement scalable AI solutions, contribute to reusable primitives, and collaborate with ML engineers and PM/UX to shape product roadmaps.

You should have strong programming in C++, Python or Go, hands-on ML experience, and the ability to navigate large distributed systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience programming in C++, Python or Go.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software.
• 3 years of experience with Applied Machine learning.
• 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable AI solutions for Google's enterprise functions leveraging our enterprise AI best practices and foundational building blocks.
• Collaborate with ML engineers and leads on developing reusable enterprise AI primitives.
• Drive innovation in AI and agentic solutions that help transform Google's business functions.
• Be a strong partner with PM/UX in defining product roadmap and new feature scope.
