CATHEXIS, based in Tysons, VA, is seeking a Senior AI/ML Software Developer to join our engineering team. You will collaborate with skilled engineers to build AI applications using JavaScript, Python or Java, delivering robust solutions and high-quality code.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, data-driven problem solving, and mentoring junior staff. A Bachelor’s degree in computer science and the ability to obtain an active secret or higher clearance are required, plus strong OO

Qualifications

• Hands-on development experience with JavaScript, Python or Java.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills and knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with profiling and optimization techniques.
• Proficiency with modern LLM tooling to accelerate development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience and understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, profiling & optimization.
• Passion for developing team-oriented solutions to complex engineering problems.
• Proficient in leveraging modern LLM tools to accelerate development workflows and enhance code quality.

CATHEXIS offers competitive compensation packages to all eligible employees. Our goal is to provide a compensation package that reflects the value you bring to our team, is competitive with national average market rates, and promotes your financial security and personal well‑being. The annual salary range for this role is $148,000.00 - $170,000.00 Please note that the salary information provided is a general guideline. CATHEXIS considers various factors in its final offer, including location, qualifications, experience, and skills.
