Job summary

VivSoft in Springfield, VA is seeking a Senior Product Manager/Data Science to guide AI/ML product strategy within a secure digital intelligence environment.

You translate mission needs into roadmaps, collaborate with data scientists and engineers, and oversee the full product lifecycle from concept to deployment and performance monitoring.

Strong Agile experience and DoD/IC program exposure are valued, along with certification and a curious, growth mindset.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant technical or business discipline preferred.
• Experience supporting product development in an Agile or Scrum environment.
• Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts, data analytics, and statistical methods.
• Familiarity with ML model development lifecycle and MLOps practices.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive product decisions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate mission and user needs into product vision, strategy, and prioritized roadmaps for AI/ML capabilities.
• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to enhance mission outcomes.
• Provide strategic insight on the application of industry best practices and emerging AI technologies.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to design, develop, and deploy machine learning products.
• Support the full product lifecycle from concept and requirements definition through deployment and performance monitoring.
• Serve as the primary interface between stakeholders, users, and development teams.
• Lead or support strategic planning sessions, design reviews, and product demonstrations.
• Monitor product performance metrics and recommend enhancements to improve effectiveness.
• Evaluate operational baselines and recommend data-driven improvements.
• Communicate product vision, progress, and outcomes to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay current on AI/ML trends, tools, and methodologies and apply them to mission challenges.
• Support cross-functional collaboration across program, engineering, and mission teams.
