Vantor Inc. is seeking a senior AI/ML leader to design, build, and sustain secure AI capabilities for high-volume analysis and mission operations.

The role requires an active TS/SCI with CI poly and is located in the Washington DC area, with work at Reston, VA or Joint Base Anacostia, Arlington, VA. You will define ML models, test and deploy AI systems, optimize models for scale, and manage data flows and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD with 8+ years of experience in AI/ML.
• Expert in designing novel algorithms for complex intelligence problems using AI lifecycle management and model optimization.
• Guides strategic AI implementation and represents capabilities to senior stakeholders.
• Active Top Secret clearance with CI Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Defines, develops, and delivers machine learning models and AI solutions
• Tests, deploys, and maintains AI systems
• Optimizes AI models for performance, scalability, and efficiency using cloud resources
• Manages data flow and infrastructure for AI deployment, including data preprocessing
• Ensures data quality and accuracy fed into models and deploys them to production
• Conducts data analysis, preprocessing, and feature engineering to improve model performance
• Applies ML algorithms to large structured and unstructured datasets to solve problems such as pattern recognition and tracking
• May use system-of-systems and multi-agent approaches to design AI software systems
