Job summary

Abbott's Lingo division seeks a Senior AI/ML Engineer to productionize time-series and personalization models for glucose insights, turning research into scalable cloud services.

You will collaborate with data scientists and platform engineers to ensure high performance, reliability, and maintainability, delivering real-time and batch inference capabilities in a regulated, enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 8+ years software or ML engineering experience, incl. 3+ years deploying ML models to production.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
• Experience with time-series modeling or forecasting in production.

Responsibilities

• Productionize time-series and personalization models for glucose insights into scalable services.
• Refactor and optimize data science code for performance and reliability.
• Build batch and real-time inference services with defined latency and availability targets.
• Collaborate with data scientists, platform engineers, and product teams.
