Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an experienced Software Engineer III - AI/ML Engineer in the AI For Technology group in Jersey City. You will lead AI/ML initiatives, translate business needs into technical specs, and deliver secure, scalable solutions within an agile team.

Responsibilities include implementing ML life cycle processes, building production-ready code, and developing data-driven insights across large datasets. Strong Python/Spark skills and cloud experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on production AI/ML solution development experience.
• Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, Auto-GPT and related tools.
• Deep knowledge of machine learning and AI, with ML frameworks cited.
• Strong programming in Python and Spark; familiarity with vector ops.
• Experience with AWS services like EMR, SageMaker, and data processing pipelines.
• Understanding of SDLC and agile practices including CI/CD and security.

Responsibilities

• Deliver AI/ML projects via agile lifecycle with clear milestones.
• Translate business needs into AI/ML specifications and deliverables.
• Develop secure, production-grade code and reliable models.
• Produce architecture/design artifacts for complex apps and ensure constraints.
• Analyze large datasets to generate visuals and improve software systems.
• Identify hidden data patterns to improve coding hygiene and architecture.
• Contribute to engineering communities and explore new tech.
