Job summary

Allocate is actively seeking an AI/Extraction Engineer to help lay the technical foundation for our private markets platform. You will build and refine ML/LLM models for production, improve evaluation loops, and stand up monitoring tooling to ensure model quality.

Collaboration with cross‑functional teams will be essential to ship AI‑powered capabilities. The role emphasizes hands‑on model fine‑tuning, production readiness, and adoption of new AI tools as they emerge, with a focus on delivering

Qualifications

4+ years of applied ML/LLM engineering in production.
Experience taking models from prototype to reliable production systems.
Hands-on model fine-tuning and rigorous evaluation discipline.
Proficiency with Git and version control.
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, OpenAI’s Codex, or Cursor, and a demonstrated ability to incorporate new tools as they emerge.

Responsibilities

Build, train, and improve machine‑learning models for production use.
Develop evaluation and feedback loops that measurably improve model performance over time.
Stand up the tooling to measure, monitor, and track model quality.
