Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Senior Developer Advocate for AI and Machine Learning to be the voice of the company in the Bay Area AI community. You will translate practitioner insights into production‑ready demos, reference implementations, and content that informs both product teams and customers.

You will deliver talks, host panels, create blogs and tutorials, and mentor teammates while collaborating with engineering, product, and field teams to drive adoption of Genie Agents, MLflow, and Unity AI

Qualifications

• 5+ years of combined experience as a developer advocate and in a hands‑on technical role.
• Experience building and operating AI or ML systems.
• Strong Python skills.
• Proven ability to engage AI engineers and data scientists in public forums.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Speak at user groups and meetups, host panels and demos.
• Create blogs, videos, tutorials, courseware for the community.
• Develop reference implementations and starter kits for agents on the Databricks platform.
• Build relationships with practitioners and feed feedback to product teams.
• Mentor other advocates and support community initiatives.
