Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking an experienced infrastructure engineer to design, build, and implement enterprise infrastructure technology across cloud, network, database, and middleware domains. You will drive automation, monitoring, and optimization to ensure high availability and performance, while aligning projects with policy and governance.

The role requires at least 5 years of infrastructure engineering experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing and middleware technologies.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, and implements enterprise infrastructure platforms and systems across cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, or middleware domains.
• Applies automation, monitoring, and optimization techniques to ensure high availability and performance of infrastructure.
• Manages infrastructure engineering projects and processes aligned with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to integrate new technologies and continuously improve infrastructure standards and processes.
• Troubleshoots and resolves complex technical issues impacting infrastructure performance and reliability.
• Supports compliance with technology strategies, standards, and governance to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory adherence.
• Reviews and guides infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures to support operational consistency and knowledge sharing.
• Provides technical guidance and direction to lower-level technical professionals.
• Develops technical solutions with deep analysis of infrastructure systems and leads infrastructure processes.
