EY is seeking a senior Distinguished Engineer to lead AI-native system delivery for regulated industries. You will bridge architecture, delivery, and governance, driving scalable, auditable, and repeatable patterns across client engagements.

The role emphasizes hands-on technical leadership, cross-team collaboration, and shaping enterprise capabilities with a focus on safety and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years delivering complex AI enterprise systems in regulated environments.
• Deep experience with distributed systems and cloud platforms.
• Hands-on with modern AI-enabled application stacks including agentic systems.
• Proven ability to operate in forward-deployed or client-facing roles.

Responsibilities

• Serve as cross-engagement technical authority ensuring architecture intent and safety in regulated environments.
• Synthesize learnings into durable reference integrations and reusable patterns.
• Collaborate with AI agents to support safe-to-ship decisions with evidence.
• Act as player-coach, contributing to complex design while guiding delivery teams.
• Own cross-cell signals and translate field observations into evidence-based recommendations.
• Partner with product teams to package patterns into technical business cases and backlog items.
• Participate in architecture reviews and prioritization discussions to improve portability and outcomes.
