Job summary

Commit is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer (React / Node.js) AI-First. You will own features end-to-end: React on the front-end, Node.js on the back-end, deployed with Docker and Kubernetes on AWS.

This is a hands-on senior role in a small team where you ship, deploy, and support what you build. Front-end work emphasizes AI-driven UI generation with designers' inputs; you will focus on architecture, code quality, reviews, and product quality rather than manual JSX creation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development.
• 3+ years full-stack React/Node.js in production.
• Strong React with TypeScript.
• Strong Node.js API design and testing.
• Hands-on production experience with Kubernetes, Docker and AWS.
• AI-first front-end development, proven in production.
• Experience with AI design-to-code tools (Figma-to-code, v0, Lovable, Bolt or similar).
• Git, CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship full-stack features: React front-end + Node.js services and APIs.
• Build the front-end AI-first: turn designs, specs or screenshots into working React screens using AI coding agents; generate components, forms, tables, state logic and tests; then review, harden and integrate.
• Set up and maintain the AI workflow for front-end work: project rules/context files, component conventions, design-system references and prompt patterns so AI output matches the codebase.
• Containerize services with Docker, deploy and operate them on Kubernetes and AWS.
• Maintain CI/CD, monitoring and logging for what you own.
• Review code (human- and AI-written) and work directly with the product and management team.
