Job summary

EY is seeking a Finance Applications Data Lead to help execute the data management strategy for finance applications. The role blends finance domain knowledge with enterprise data management, governance, and ML/Gen AI to support finance personas and create a reusable data model across finance systems.

You will collaborate with Data Lead and Product Owner to ensure EY Al Finance Blueprint is designed on accurate, consistent data architecture, enabling informed decisions and scalable solutions

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree and approximately three years of related work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data management, with at least 1 year focused on finance application data, data modeling, financial modeling.
• Strong understanding of data management principles, including data governance, data quality, and master data management.
• Experience with Machine Learning techniques, Gen AI technologies, and Azure data services (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, MS SQL, Python).
• Knowledge of finance applications including financial modeling (PnL, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Proficiency in data integration, data transformation, and data modeling tools and techniques.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, supporting the adoption and implementation of emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Design and deliver system architecture solutions in collaboration with technical teams.
• Tailor technology platforms to align with business processes and objectives.
• Lead the design of an extensible common information model for the FDL Blueprint and maintain documentation such as data dictionaries and data lineage maps.
• Develop and implement the FDL Blueprint solution, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with data scientists and finance SMEs to apply ML/Gen AI to finance applications and data management initiatives.
