Job summary

Apple is seeking a Sr Engineering Specialist for the AIML Evaluation team. You will manage evaluation projects from design through delivery, ensuring quality and alignment with customer experience.

You will partner with Tooling Engineering, Program Management, Operations and Data Science on cross-functional efforts. The role emphasizes device configuration, process improvement, and durable fixes to scale evaluation projects across teams.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years in roles such as technical program manager, consultant, QA/device tester, or evaluation operations.
• Hands-on manual testing experience, including designing and executing test passes on physical devices.
• Highly organized with a track record of balancing multiple concurrent efforts and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own device configuration for evaluation projects and coordinate rollouts with Operations.
• Monitor in-progress projects and flag quality issues early to protect results.
• Collaborate with Evaluation Data Science to review design for quality and alignment.
• Drive triage with the evaluation tooling team when issues arise and ensure resolution.
• Turn recurring problems into durable fixes with checklists and guardrails.
