Job summary

Jack is seeking a senior AI/ML engineer to automate healthcare advocate workflows and build multi-agent orchestration systems for production use. The role focuses on streaming STT/TTS, telephony, and RL loops that improve models with real nurse actions. A background in voice AI and startup exposure will help navigate ambiguity and drive rapid delivery.

Qualifications

• 1–10 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, building systems including voice AI.
• Has shipped voice AI and agentic/LLM-powered systems to production (not demos).
• Production voice AI stack: streaming STT/TTS, telephony, latency optimization, endpointing.
• Agentic systems: context engineering, multi-agent orchestration, tool use, RAG.
• Experience as a founder or from a late-stage startup, or Big Tech with startup exposure.

• Automate tasks healthcare advocates currently do manually, including outbound voice calls to insurance, doctors, pharmacies, and patients
• Build and improve agentic search and multi-agent orchestration systems that coordinate across complex healthcare workflows
• Design evaluation infrastructure to measure and improve the quality of AI automations so advocates increasingly rely on them
• Implement reinforcement learning loops that use real nurse actions to train and improve models over time
• Ship fast and iterate directly with the team that listens to real conversations daily

• Design evaluation infrastructure to measure and improve the quality of AI automations so advocates increasingly rely on them

• Ship fast and iterate directly with the team that listens to real conversations daily

Requirements

• 1-10 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, building systems including voice AI
• Has shipped voice AI and agentic/LLM-powered systems to production (not demos)
• Production voice AI stack: streaming STT/TTS, telephony, latency optimization, endpointing
• Agentic systems: context engineering, multi-agent orchestration, tool use, RAG
• Experience as a founder or from a stalling later-stage company, or Big Tech with prior startup experience
• Rapid learner who thrives in ambiguity - builds the playbook rather than following one
• Willing to relocate to SF in Q1 2027
• $180K-$220K base salary plus competitive equity, higher for exceptional candidates
