Job summary

Thrively is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to architect and scale AI capabilities across its platform. You will build AI-powered agents and chat features, deploy scalable AI infrastructure, and advance retrieval augmented generation workflows in production.

You will collaborate with cross-functional leadership and drive MLOps, evaluation methodologies, and experimentation to shape product outcomes. Hybrid work in Boston with meaningful impact on customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of AI/ML experience in production environments.
• Strong Python development experience for web apps.
• Experience deploying AI in production and using AI APIs.
• Proficient with LLMs, prompt engineering and evaluation workflows.
• Familiar with LangChain, vector embeddings, and RAG workflows.
• Hands-on experience with MLOps, deployment, monitoring and observability.
• Experience working in Agile product/engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-powered agent and chat capabilities for customers.
• Design scalable AI infrastructure and real-time pipelines.
• Develop RAG workflows and vector DB integrations.
• Prototype and iterate AI features using feedback and data.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and experimentation frameworks.
• Advance MLOps practices and model evaluation methods.
