Job summary

The Global Talent Co. is seeking an AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered features across production-grade applications.

You will integrate LLMs into backend services, APIs, and AI workflows, while collaborating with data scientists and product teams to ship scalable AI capabilities. Ideal candidates have strong software fundamentals, hands-on LLM experience (GPT-4, Claude, Gemini, Llama), and a track record of end-to-end feature delivery in production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4–5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, AI Engineer, or similar (product-focused).
• Located in COLOMBIA (only).
• English level: B2+ or C1.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, systems design, and clean code.
• Proficiency in Python and backend systems development (APIs, services, integrations).
• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs (GPT-4, Claude, Gemini, Llama) into applications; Claude is a strong plus.
• Experience building RAG systems, agent frameworks, or LLM-based applications.
• Production experience with large codebases and end-to-end feature delivery.
• SQL experience (Postgres) and data handling.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI-powered features within production-grade applications.
• Develop backend services and APIs that integrate LLMs into real-world products.
• Build and optimize LLM-based workflows, including prompt engineering, tool usage, RAG systems, and agent frameworks.
• Own end-to-end delivery of AI features from ideation to deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product teams to integrate AI in scalable systems.
• Work with large codebases and contribute to system architecture and technical decisions.
• Evaluate and improve LLM performance using testing frameworks, metrics, and iteration.
• Collect, preprocess, and manage data for AI-powered features (not heavy model training).
• Stay updated with generative AI advancements and apply them to product development.
