Job summary

eimagine seeks a Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI applications that improve business processes and decision making. You will work on retrieval-augmented generation, content ingestion, and model evaluation within Azure-based services, ensuring security and governance.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering production software and AI capabilities.
• Strong Python and SQL skills, API development, and solid software engineering practices.
• Hands-on experience building LLM applications with retrieval and evaluation.
• Ability to pick simpler solutions when appropriate.
• Security risks in LLM apps and mitigations.
• Experience deploying cloud-based services in Azure and related auth/secrets/logging.
• Experience with predictive modeling and integrating model outputs.
• Collaborative work with modelers on evaluation and production readiness.

Responsibilities

• Build AI application services, APIs, and integrations with approved models and data.
• Implement MCP services within architecture and security standards.
• Develop RAG, search, and guided-assistance capabilities with controlled sources.
• Create content ingestion and retrieval pipelines with embeddings and indexing.
• Ensure access permissions stay correct across pipelines.
• Collaborate with data teams for reproducible datasets and features.
• Evaluate predictive models for business use cases and production readiness.
• Monitor model outputs, scoring, latency, and cost; implement tests and safeguards.
