Job summary

Closer Consulting is hiring a Senior AI Engineer for a fully remote, global role. You will design, build, and deploy AI and ML solutions focusing on Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, and production AI systems.

You will work with platforms like OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, or Vertex AI, and develop AI APIs and production services using Python. Strong collaboration with engineering, data, and product teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in AI/ML or software engineering
• Strong Python programming experience
• Hands-on with LLMs, Generative AI, RAG, or AI agents
• Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, or similar platforms
• Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD
• Experience with vector databases and ML/AI frameworks
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI/ML and Generative AI solutions.
• Build and deploy LLM-based applications, RAG pipelines, and AI agents.
• Work with models and platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, or Vertex AI.
• Develop AI APIs and production services using Python and modern frameworks.
• Implement model evaluation, monitoring, security, and optimization.
• Integrate vector databases, embeddings, and knowledge retrieval systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, and product teams.
• Deploy and maintain AI solutions in cloud environments.
