Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial experience in ML/DL engineering.
• Strong PyTorch and CV architectures experience, incl. Vision Transformers and DINO.
• Hands-on MLOps and cloud-based ML development with MLflow and Vertex AI.
• Solid Python engineering skills (Python 3.11/3.12+) and modern workflows.
• Background in signal processing, time-series analysis, and large-scale data processing (PostgreSQL/PostGIS, H3).
• Advanced English with ability to communicate in international teams.

Responsibilities

• Research and validate ML approaches for vessel detection using DAS data.
• Train, fine-tune, and optimize DL and CV models for acoustic signal analysis.
• Analyze vessel-related vibration and noise patterns (engine, propeller, hull-wave).
• Build and maintain scalable ML pipelines and deployments in GCP Vertex AI/Cloud Run.
• Track model performance with metrics like Precision/Recall and ROC.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an international environment.

• 5+ years of commercial experience in Machine Learning / Deep Learning engineering


• Strong expertise with PyTorch and modern Computer Vision architectures, including Vision Transformers and DINO


• Hands-on experience with MLOps and cloud-based ML development using MLflow and Vertex AI


• Solid Python engineering skills (Python 3.11/3.12+) and experience working with modern development workflows


• Strong background in signal processing, time-series analysis, and large-scale data processing using PostgreSQL/PostGIS and H3


• Advanced English level with the ability to communicate effectively in international teams
