Job summary

PwC is seeking an AI Engineering Manager to lead the Digital Assurance & Technology team in delivering advanced AI/ML solutions for clients in the United States. You will guide data-driven projects, design algorithms, and ensure rigorous evaluation and deployment of AI systems across engagements.

You will mentor junior staff, manage client expectations, and maintain technical and professional standards while promoting innovation and responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 4 years of experience.
• Experience leading AI/ML projects or teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of advanced AI and ML solutions to drive innovation and enhance business processes.
• Design and optimize algorithms, models, and systems for intelligent decision-making and automation.
• Transform raw data into actionable insights to support informed decision-making and drive business growth.
• Manage complex data analysis and integration to improve data quality and infrastructure.
• Oversee data modeling and relational database management to support robust data solutions.
• Mentor team members to leverage strengths and manage performance to meet client expectations.
• Address conflicts or issues by engaging in difficult conversations with clients and stakeholders.
• Uphold professional and technical standards, including the firm's code of conduct and independence requirements.
• Encourage development of skills outside comfort zones and promote teamwork and curiosity.
• Define and review testing approaches for AI system behavior, performance, robustness, bias, explainability, and failure modes.
• Review technical controls and evidence to confirm findings, limitations, and recommendations are clear and defensible.
• Lead the development of reusable evaluation tools, automated tests, reference datasets, monitoring capabilities, and evidence workflows.
