Job summary

Innovaccer is seeking a Staff AI Engineer to stay deep in the code, designing and building the hardest, highest-impact parts of our platform—backend services, data pipelines, and AI-powered features that define our products. You will write production code, own complex components end to end, and lead by doing while guiding architecture and mentoring engineers around you.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience building large-scale production systems.
• Hands-on coding in one or more modern languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go).
• Experience integrating AI/ML into products and operationalizing them.
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GDPR).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship the most complex components of the platform; own end-to-end responsibility.
• Lead architecture decisions for scalability, performance, security, and cost.
• Mentor senior engineers and set engineering best practices across the SDLC.
• Ensure compliant handling of healthcare data and robust incident response.
• Collaborate with product and clinical teams to translate needs into technically sound designs.
