Job summary

Motion Recruitment seeks a Senior AI Engineer for a fully onsite role in Washington, DC. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of professional software/ML engineering experience, including building and deploying AI/LLM-powered applications and exposure to agentic AI, multi-agent systems, orchestration, fine-tuning, model evaluation, and autonomous decision-making.

Experience with Python, PyTorch, and a modern ML stack is preferred, with prior work on multi-modal systems, air-gapped or classified

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software/ML engineering experience.
• Experience with Python, PyTorch, and ML stack.
• Hands-on experience building autonomous agentic AI systems.
• Deep familiarity with how frontier models behave.
• Rigorous instincts on the data side.
• Knowledge of running models on constrained hardware.
