Job summary

JFL Consulting LLC is seeking a Senior AI Engineer for Agentic Orchestration in the DC-metro area. You will architect, build, and maintain production APIs and data pipelines that feed a Common Operating Picture, and you will orchestrate agentic AI workflows to deliver predictive, decision-grade capabilities.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of backend/API experience, strong Python and API design skills (REST/GraphQL/OpenAPI), and hands-on work with Palantir Foundry and AWS GovCloud. A U.S.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
• 8+ years of professional back-end or API integration engineering experience.
• Experience designing, versioning, and operating production APIs and data pipelines.
• Experience delivering software on DoD/IC or federal programs in secure cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain production API integrations ingesting data from diverse sources into the COP.
• Design, implement, and version robust interface contracts (REST/GraphQL, OpenAPI).
• Build and operate high-throughput data-pipeline components (e.g., Kafka).
• Integrate data products within Palantir Foundry and AWS GovCloud.
• Implement agentic AI workflows and orchestration layer for safe COP exposure.
• Write integration and contract tests; maintain CI/CD pipelines; write technical docs.
• Ensure security posture per NIST SP 800-53/800-171 controls; monitor performance and reliability.
