Job summary

Optomi is seeking a Senior Engineer (VP-equivalent) to join the Customer-Facing AI Agents team in New York. Design and build production agentic workflows for multi-turn conversations, tool calling, retrieval, escalation, and human handoff in a regulated, high-trust environment.

You will own agent orchestration with LangGraph/LangChain, integrate with Java/Spring microservices, and tune evaluation loops to ensure reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.

Optomi, in partnership with a leading technology organization operating at the scale of a major financial enterprise, is looking for a Senior Engineer (VP-equivalent) to join their Customer-Facing AI Agents team. We are seeking a seasoned Senior Engineer to design and build production agentic workflows for customer-facing use cases. This role involves working on multi-turn conversation, tool calling, retrieval, escalation, and human handoff. You will own agent orchestration end to end using LangGraph/LangChain, integrate agents with core service layers, and build and tune evaluation loops. The position requires hardening systems for a regulated, high-trust environment.
