Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced SDET to design and implement end-to-end quality processes for an engineering team focused on achieving full test automation. The role embeds a culture of quality within Fidelity's mobile, web, and API experiences through our CoE.

You will champion automation, test pyramid health, mobile testing strategies, and AI-driven testing solutions while guiding release management and SDLC practices. Strong coding and CI/CD expertise are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional SDET experience.
• Experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks for native iOS/Android (bonus for web/API).
• Familiarity with AI/ML-driven testing tools to improve efficiency and defect detection.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end quality processes for an engineering team focused on full test automation.
• Embed quality culture within software teams via Quality Center of Excellence (CoE).
• Champion best practices in automation, test pyramid health, mobile testing strategies, AI-driven testing, release management, SDLC, and Definition of Done.
• Own team outcomes and success metrics: test coverage, automation levels, change failure rate, pipeline stability.
• Mentor and collaborate to develop test strategy, scope, and mobile testing frameworks.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize test suites and CI/CD pipelines for reliability and productivity.
• Explore and implement AI/ML-driven testing tools to boost efficiency and defect detection.
